Autism Oxford is dedicated to enabling others to learn from Autistic people, their family members, and genuinely skilled, experienced autism professionals, and to encouraging and supporting the development of autism-specific services and access for autistic people to generic services.
Promote therapeutic education for autistic children, but their main focus is now directed towards supporting children and young people with autism and their families to be happy, healthy, and to achieve and thrive. Their ethos is to nurture, enable and inspire the autism community.
OASIS is a friendly charity run by parents for parents/carers who are bringing up children/young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or related conditions such as Global Developmental Delay or Sensory Processing Disorder in Oxfordshire.
We aim to create a supportive community through informal coffee and chat groups, evening meetings with professional speakers, subsidised courses and family play days during school holidays.
