A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Flexicare walk on Sunday 17th May 2026!  Your support helped us to make the day a huge success, a wonderful community event with fun, challenge and achievement for all!

Thank you for your incredible generosity in donations, both financial, of food for the lunch, and to everyone who donated their time in helping out with the practicalities.

Some key facts from the event:

• 121 participants (41 groups) joined us on the day
• 58 people took the two longest, 10 mile and 7.5 mile routes
• 22 people took the shorter, 5 mile route
• 31 people took the accessible route and/or the village stroll
• That’s almost 700 miles walked, run and wheeled in aid of Flexicare!
• Our two youngest participants were 5-month old babies!
• The event is a hugely important fundraiser for Flexicare, helping us to provide our unique, vital sitting service for families with a disabled child
