About Flexicare
Flexicare is an Oxfordshire charity that provides a specialised sitting service to families with severely disabled children and their siblings. This is a needs-led service, run by specially trained part-time staff and volunteers. In order to ensure that we continue to provide an excellent service to our families, we are currently recruiting for the role of Office Manager.
The post-holder will be working with and reporting to the Flexicare Manager who has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and is accountable to the Flexicare Trustees. You will be a problem solver who does not shy away from a challenge. You will have excellent communication skills and will be flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated.
All Flexicare staff largely work from their own home, with a laptop and other necessary equipment supplied. Working remotely requires you to be a self-starter and really enjoy creating efficiency through systems and process management. Staff meet together regularly, to foster team working and keep abreast of developments. Staff meetings are either face-to-face or online. Some travel may therefore be required.
The hours of work are flexible, mainly within core hours Monday-Friday, but occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Please note a Basic DBS check will be required due to the nature of the service Flexicare provides.
