Are you ready for the challenge?

Then grab your walking boots, bicycle or wheels, and join us for our annual Flexicare Community Walk.  Meeting on Sunday 18^th May at Snells Hall, East Hendred, OX12 8LA.

Bring your family, friends, dogs and determination; and join us at Snells Hall to start between 8.30am and 10pm.   A range of walks are available at 10 miles, 6 miles and 3 miles.  Our 3 mile walk and village stroll are wheelchair and buggy accessible.

As always, homemade cakes and refreshments will be available at the half-way point of the two longer routes, and at the start/finish point for everyone.

Fundraising for Flexicare

This event is free entry for all to enjoy but if you would like to help raise funds, your generosity will help us to provide our unique, vital sitting service for families with a disabled child.  There are lots of ways you can support our charity:

Food, Drink and Equipment

We are all looking forward to sharing our traditional feast of delicious homemade treats.  Donations of cold, pre-cooked finger food are always very welcome, but please do let us know what you might bring and any allergens should be clearly labelled.

Safety first –  we’ll provide the cake, but please ensure that you and your family or group carry enough water and snacks to keep healthy and hydrated during the walk.  Don’t forget suitable clothing and footwear, and sun protection!  Doggy friends are very welcome but please remember that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
